Scope and Content Detail of burial slab of John Campbell of Dunstaffnage (died 1680s) from Campbell burial aisle at Dunstaffnage Chapel, near Dunstaffnage Castle, at the mouth of Loch Etive, Argyll According to its inscription, this was erected by Alexander Campbell, John Campbell's eldest son. The man wears a three-cornered hat, a wig and a broad-cuffed knee-length coat, while the woman sports a full sleeved dress with a square-cut neckline.
