Scope and Content Detail of moulding of east chancel window in Dunstaffnage Chapel, near Dunstaffnage Castle, at the mouth of Loch Etive, Argyll Dunstaffnage Chapel's original architectural details date it to 1225-50. The burial aisle was added in 1740 when the main building was already ruinous. This was for the use of the Campbells of Dunstaffnage, hereditary Captains of Dunstaffnage castle. This shows the moulding on the east window which would have originally lit the chancel where the priest officiated at the altar. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
