Scope and Content Interior of north windows of chancel in Dunstaffnage Chapel, near Dunstaffnage Castle, at the mouth of Loch Etive, Argyll Dunstaffnage Chapel's original architectural details date it to 1225-50. The burial aisle was added in 1740 when the main building was already ruinous. This was for the use of the Campbells of Dunstaffnage, hereditary Captains of Dunstaffnage castle. The chancel's north windows are well preserved. The moulding on of the easternmost window (right) is more ornate than that of its western neighbour. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
