Scope and Content Interior of south windows of chancel in Dunstaffnage Chapel, near Dunstaffnage Castle, at the mouth of Loch Etive, Argyll Dunstaffnage Chapel's original architectural details date it to 1225-50. The burial aisle was added in 1740 when the main building was already ruinous. This was for the use of the Campbells of Dunstaffnage, hereditary Captains of Dunstaffnage castle. Though the south windows have been severely damaged, enough components remain in place for it to be clear that they are a mirror-image of the north windows. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
