Scope and Content Drawing of drying-rail supports of earlier beetling shed of Avonbank Bleach and Dye Works, Larkhall Avonbank Bleach and Dye Works was founded in 1839 on the site of an earlier distillery. It soon became famous for its Scotch Holland Roller Blinds. In 1865 it passed to D C Miller who owned it until its demolition in the 1980s. Four drying-rails run the length of the airing-floor.
