Description Copy of inscription on reverse of last page: 'The Plan Drawn upon this and the four preceeding Leaves, is the Plan of the House and Inclosure to be built and made for George Watson's Hospital to which the contract enter'd into betwixt the Governours of the said Hospital and William Adam Architect in Edinburgh for building and making therof, of this Date doth Refer. In witness wherof these presents written by Edward Rutherford writer in Edinburgh, Are subscribed together with the said four preceeding Leaves, the Plan being drawn on one side of each Leaf only, by George Miller merchant in Edinburgh Preses ? of the Governours of the said Hospital and the said William Adam, Att Edinburgh the Twenty fourth Day of April One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Eight Years Before these witnesses Archibald Murray Merchant in Edinburgh and William Geddes writer there and the said Edward Rutherford' Signed 'Archibald Murray Witnise George Miller Ps Wm Geddes witnes William Adam Edw Rutherford witnes
