Scope and Content Stair-hall inside Cullen Town Hall, Aberdeenshire Cullen Town Hall was built for new town of Cullen which was begun in 1821. It was paid for by the Seafield estate. The architect designed many of the local buildings, but he made the Town Hall stand out by making it more sophisticated than the rest. The stair, which has been replaced, leads up to a circular balcony with doors into the hotel, the council-chamber and the court-room. The neoclassical statue on the half-landing is original.
