Scope and Content Cross-slab known as the Migvie Stone at Logie Coldstone, Aberdeenshire The Migvie stone is a roughly pointed pillar with carvings of a cross on one face and a faint horse and rider on the other. It stands in the churchyard at Logie Coldstone. The waisted cross is carved in relief and decorated with interlace. Circular projections may represent hanging loops for a metal cross. A double-disc and Z-rod, an arch and V-rod, a pair of shears and a horseman surround the cross. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
