Scope and Content First-floor plan of Cullen Town Hall, Aberdeenshire Cullen Town Hall was built for new town of Cullen which was begun in 1821. It was paid for by the Seafield estate. The architect designed many of the local buildings, but he made the Town Hall stand out by making it more sophisticated than the rest. The Town Hall was built as part of a complex which included a council-room, assembly-room, post-office, inn and stables. Much of the inside layout has changed, except for parts of the hotel and the council chamber. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
