Scope and Content Council-chamber inside Cullen Town Hall, Aberdeenshire Cullen Town Hall was built for new town of Cullen which was begun in 1821. It was paid for by the Seafield estate. The architect designed many of the local buildings, but he made the Town Hall stand out by making it more sophisticated than the rest. The council chamber still has its original panelled dados as well as shutters, doors and plasterwork. Beneath the council chamber, a vestibule opens onto the stair hall.
