Scope and Content North face of south range, Greenside Farm, Fife Greenside Farm was begun in the early 19th century and is an example of a home farm - the main farm of an estate. These were common in Fife because the county contained many small estates. The south range contained a hen-house at its east end (left) and a boiler-house at its west (near right). In between was a workshop, harness-room, gig-house and a feed-store with hatches opening onto the cattle-court below and behind the range (right). Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
