Scope and Content A large Scottish baronial house with turrets at all corners and finials on the turrets. The dormer window gables are decorated and armorial plaques are set into the walls. The house is set on a terrace in landscaped grounds with benches. The terrace has ornate stone finials on the wall and has steps leading down to a large lawn with topiary and box edged beds below the terrace. There is a porte-cochere beneath the entrance tower, with a balcony above on the right. Ecclesgreig House was the seat of a local landowner, F G Forsyth-Grant, in the late 19th century. St Cyrus is a nature reserve on the east coast of Scotland.
