Scope and Content A view from a car park towards a Gothic church with tower and adjacent ruins. There is a coach on the terraces. The Abbey is built on the foundations of a Benedictine Priory established by St Margaret, and an old Celtic church. It comprises two churches in a mixture of styles, mainly Norman and Gothic. The Frater Hall is where the monks from the old priory lived.
