Scope and Content A stone recess with an ogee arch and crucifix in the corner of a wood panelled room. There is a wood carving hanging beside the altar. Once the old Glovers' Hall, the Fair Maid's house gained fame as the residence of Catherine Glover in Walter Scott's "The Fair Maid of Perth", published 1828.
