Scope and Content View of a lighthouse and outhouses bordering a coastal road, with a loch and mountains behind. The lightkeeper's house has crow-step gables. There is a car on the road. The lighthouse, designed by Smith and Stevenson, was constructed in 1797. Further along the coast an ancient monolith known as the '(Granny) Kempock Stone' was for centuries held to offer mariners protection from the treacherous waters.
