Scope and Content A roadside hotel with a car parked by the entrance. Beyond are cottages and a shed; a signpost and an immense tree are seen left of view. The signpost reads "Kilfinan School Please Drive Slowly." Kilfinan is a village above Kilfinan Bay on Loch Fyne. Gunpowder and other munitions were manufactured at nearby Kames.
