Scope and Content A view across a sea loch towards a road passing through coastal dwellings and cultivated fields. Steep mountains rise in the distance. View across loch to coastal village and cultivated fields; mountains in distance. Strome Ferry or Stromeferry is on the southern shores of Loch Carron and takes its name from the ferry service which operated across the loch. It was also the terminus of the Dingwall and Skye railway until the Kyleakin line was built.
