Scope and Content A church choir viewed from the gallery, showing a decorated screen and stalls, decorated capitals and hammer beam roof and recessed arches. The end wall is decorated with hanging cloths or tapestries. This was the first post Reformation cathedral built in Britain. The Tsar of Russia gifted five gold ikons.
