Scope and Content A substantial house, with towers and turrets, set in formal gardens amongst coniferous woodland. Built in the 19th century in Scottish baronial style. There are people at the entrance, and misst is descending on the far hills. Bonskeid House is now a YMCA hostel also used by various other bodies as a holiday place and conference centre.
