The round arched windows have pillars supporting chevron decorated mouldings above. The doorway has interlocking arches on pillars and zoomorphic heads above it. This is one of the preserved Norman churches in Scotland. There is a large pipe chimney running up the side of the church and roof at the east end of the choir.
