Scope and Content A substantial building of monastic design, with turrets crenellated towers. There is a stained glass window in the ivy-clad chapel. Rossie Priory is the seat of Lord Kinnaird. It was built in monastic style on the site of a previous house in the early 19th century, from designs by Atkinson. The grounds are extensive, with a pleasure gardens and a lake.
