Scope and Content Large lichen covered boulders are set in a rough grass field before a railway station on the shore of a large loch, with forests at the foot of a steep mountain range on the distant shore. The station is composed of platform, station house and a building with outside staircase and signal box. The station was on the Ballachulish branch of the Callander & Oban Railway; it opened in August 1903 and closed in March 1966.
