Scope and Content A close view of a ruined high arched footbridge spanning a narrow rocky gorge and river, with woodland beyond. Ruined high arched footbridge spanning narrow rocky gorge and river; woodland beyond. The old bridge spans the River Dulnain, Strathspey. It was built in 1717 and designed to be above flood level when the river overflows. The Grant clan has two mausolea at nearby Dunhill. New bridges were constructed in 1901 and 1939.
