Scope and Content A view of the rear of a large stone building with crow step gables, and steps with railings leading to the door; a bow window overlooks the garden and flowerbeds. The building is now part of St Leonards School and contains the library and a school museum. Mary, Queen of Scots is reputed to have stayed in an upstairs room in the house when in St Andrews in 1563.
