Scope and Content Pond with lily pads and fountain composed of a statue in a basin on plinth. Gravel path and lawns round pond with yew columns and palms. Hedge below grass terrace slope and dense shrubbery on right. Stuccoed house with battlements and octagonal tower above entrance porch on high terrace. The castle was rebuilt in about 1832 by Frederick Charles Trench-Gascoigne.
