Scope and Content This photograph shows coastline with a broad sandy beach and checked beach huts at the back of the beach below the sea wall. People are sitting on the beach, some in deckchairs. There is smooth grass and a path behind the beach, with a large hut beside a car park with cars. A building with veranda and fretted roof is situated at the end of a stepped landing stage. There is a hill with woods and fields behind, and further hills fading into the distance.
