Scope and Content Grassy hillock with girl standing by railings round slender Celtic cross on rough stone plinth. Flat glen floor with fields before small group of white washed cottages backed by steep craggy mountains. Scene, on the 12 February 1692, of a massacre by Campbell of Glenlyon and soldiers of MacDonalds whose chief had delayed swearing the Oath of Allegiance to King William and Queen Mary until the last day in 1691.
