Scope and Content View of Dunvegan Castle and Loch Dunvegan on the island of Skye. The castle stands on the east side of the loch in a sheltered north-facing bay. Dunvegan Castle is the seat of the chiefs of the MacLeods. The castle was started in the 15th century and added to in each century.
