Scope and Content Holy Loch is a sea loch in Argyll. Open on the Firth of Clyde at its eastern end, the loch is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) wide and between 2 and 3 miles (3 and 5 km) long, varying with the tide. The car ferry on the left goes from Hunter's Quay across the Firth of Clyde to near Gourock in Ayrshire. The Loch Ech hills are in the background.
