Scope and Content Loch Quoich supplies the water that drives the turbines at nearby Quoich power station. The dam, pictured here, that holds back the water is situated at the east end of loch. It is the largest rock-filled dam in Scotland. An additional small power station built into the Quoich dam makes use of compensation water released to maintain the flow of the River Quoich downstream from the dam.
