Scope and Content View of Cross Keys Hotel at Canonbie. It was purported that there was an Inn on this site when the Prince passed through. Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie) and his followers arrived in Canonbie on 8th November 1745 on their march south to Derby during the 1745 Jacobite Rising.
