Scope and Content Loch Lochy - a location on the route taken by Bonnie Prince Charlie and his followers going south during the Jacobite Rising of 1745. In his retreat after Culloden, the Prince passed here on 28 August 1746 early in his travels over the following 5 months which took him to various locations in the Highlands and Islands
