Scope and Content The tower had a viewing platform that went up 204ft (73m) to give visitors a panoramic view of the festival and the City of Glasgow. After the festival the tower was moved and sited in Rhyl, a seaside resort town on the north-east coast of Wales and became known as the Sky Tower.
