Scope and Content This 'puffer' boat was used in the television programme the Vital Spark, a follow up to Para Handy. The 'Vital Spark' was a BBC Scotland television series written by Duncan Ross. Small steam powered 'puffer' boats like this took goods to ports and islands along the west coast of Scotland.
