Scope and Content Drawing in sketchbook made during a tour of Orkney and Shetland in August 1801, likely by James Skene of Rubislaw. Page 22: view of Lerwick (untitled) from the south-east, with Fort Charlotte in the distance and several booths (storehouses) along the shore. Sailing ships and rowing boats in the foreground. Pencil and ink. On the reverse is an unfinished pencil sketch of a large country mansion (not in the Northern Isles).
