Scope and Content Tanhouse Brae, Culross, Fife Tanhouse Brae leads off from The Cross towards the Abbey. It contains many buildings from the burgh's heyday. From left to right are: part of The Study (about 1610); The Greek House (17th century) with the Greek inscription: 'God provides and will provide' on the lintel of the right-hand door, now a window ; and a house with a forestair (about 1700).
