Scope and Content North Church, Golfdrum Street, Dunfermline, Fife North Church on Golfdrum Street was built in 1840 as a chapel of ease - a chapel acting as an outpost for remote members of the congregation who cannot easily reach the main church. A gallery runs halfway around the inside, supported on cast iron columns. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
