Scope and Content Number 3 The Esplanade, Anstruther Wester, Fife Number 3 The Esplanade was probably built in 1718, the date carved over its doorway, and was subjected to later alterations. The near gable with the chimney is original, but the height of the walls on either side has been changed. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
