Scope and Content This image shows the northern end of Arderseir that lies along the SE side of the Moray Firth, south of Fort George. At front R is the former primary school building which now acts as the library. Cromal Mount, a medieval motte is above the football pitch at top left. Behind it, to the right of picture, is Hillhead of Ardersier Farm where some evidence of medieval rig and furrow has been identified. Mains of Ardersier is at centre right. The road running from bottom centre up to the left towards Fort George is the C18 military road. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
