Scope and Content Castlehaven on Tarbat Ness (in the line of trees towards bottom R of the photo) and, looking towards Hilton Farm and Portmahomack. Castlehaven is a scheduled promontory Fort with shell middens, bronze crucifix and a rapier-type sword recorded here in the 19th century. A cropmark has tentatively been identified as marking a stone circle here. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
