Scope and Content Viewhill Farm lies on the boundary of the designated area of the Battlefield and is now being developed for houses (2020). No archaeology was discovered in pre-development evaluation. This farm for many years bred black horses, but latterly the farm buildings were abandoned and deteriorated. The Scottish School of Forestry, in the centre of the photo, is located in Culloden Wood. The buildings shown here were replaced in 2015. The School of Forestry was attached to Inverness College and is now part of UHI. The area of Culloden Battlefield is at top left and the railway line south to Glasgow and Edinburgh is at the bottom of the picture. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
