Scope and Content Culloden began to be developed as a housing estate in the 1960s. Culloden House is just out of picture on the left but part of the walled garden and the Home Farm - now converted into housing - can be seen below the lawn in front of Culloden House. Duncan Forbes Primary School, opened in 1977, is towards bottom centre. The Culloden shopping centre is to the right of the recreation ground and to the right of that is the Smithton Industrial Estate.
