Above the pond is Drummond School which provides primary and secondary education for students with additional support needs. The present building was built in 2008, replacing the original building. To the left of the pond is Lochardil Primary School Lochardil Primary School was built in 1964 when the Lochardil estate was being developed for housing. Lochardil House Hotel (built 1876-78) can just be seen above and to the right of the school. Holm Primary School, opened in 1974 is just coming into view at bottom left. The only archaeological records for this area relate to the hotel. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
