Scope and Content This is a general view of the northern section of Ardersier. The War Memorial Hall which was opened in 1923 and reopened after refurbishment in 2013 is at bottom right and to its left is the former primary school building which now acts as the library. Cromal Mount, a medieval motte is above the football pitch at top left. Behind it, to the right of picture, is Hillhead of Ardersier Farm where some evidence of medieval rig and furrow has been identified. Mains of Ardersier is at centre right. The road running from bottom centre up to the left towards Fort George is the C18 military road. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
