Scope and Content This is a view of the Nigg Oil Terminal and Fabrication Yard, opened in 1972. Inland at Pitcalzean there are prehistoric remains - a possible barrow and an enclosure. Pitcalzean House (C19) is among the trees just left of centre. There is evidence of a saltworks in the basin at centre right.
