Description Aerial view of Heights of Brae hut circle, near Dingwall, Easter Ross, looking NE.

Date 22/1/2010

Collection Papers of James Sloan Bone, landscape historian, Inverness, Highland, Scotland

Catalogue Number DP 341924

Category On-line Digital Images

Scope and Content This hut circle sits behind a low ridge sheltering it from the W and has a clear entrance to the SE. The wall to the N and E is partly denuded. The description does not seem to match the huts described at Canmore 12941, though HC MHG8908 does mark a hut in this position. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
