Scope and Content Canmore records a possible corn kiln identified at Cnoc a'mhuilinn, Strath Sgitheach during a walk-over survey in 1989, perhaps from Pastmap APs more plausibly at NH 51647 62190. A lade was also recorded and with the place name suggested this might have been the location for a mill. However the HC HER identifies the mill and lade as lying at NH 51560 62102 (see above). The circular structure visible in this photo may still be a possible corn-drying kiln (or grouse butt?) as previously identified in 1989. There is also another possible oval structure visible at c. NH 51699 62286 and it is possible the snow cover is defining low field walls surrounding, though this may only be an effect of drifting snow.
