Scope and Content This is a view of the area from Craig Dunain Hospital, looking towards Inverness, the Kessock Bridge and the Moray Firth. It includes the Northern Counties and District Lunatic Asylum, known locally as Craig Dunain, Great Glen House and the Kessock Bridge. It shows the development of Inverness on both sides of the River Ness and the Caledonian Canal. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
