Scope and Content The two ships in the foreground are berthed at King George V Wharf, one of two wharves where bales of jute from the Indian sub-continent were unloaded well into the second half of the C20th. The travelling cranes on the wharf are visible. Beyond is Camperdown Dock, which was already moribund in the 1960s, with part of Victoria Dock to the left. At left centre, waterfront apartment blocks are under construction at the former Queen Elizabeth Wharf. At top left are the four "slab blocks" of the 1960s Dallfield multi-storey housing development in the Hilltown. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
