Scope and Content This view shows the site of the former seaplane base 1901, still used by the RAF in 1983. Little remains apart from the visible taxi way, slipway on the shore, a Bellman type hangar and small buildings. It is now the Alness Business Park bounded by the A9 trunk road between Wick and Inverness. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
